Rabbi Denise L. Eger
Rabbi Eger is the rabbi and founder of Congregation Kol Ami, West Hollywood's Reform Synagogue, where she has served since 1992. Eger is the first female Rabbi to be elected President of the Board of Rabbis of Southern California and is the Immediate Past President of the Pacific Association of Reform Rabbis, a member of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. In 2008 Eger was named one of the FORWARD 50 by the Jewish Daily Forward national newspaper as one of North America's most influential rabbis for her work on LGBT equality and has recently been honored again by the Forward as one of The Sisterhood 50, a listing of the 50 most influential women rabbis. She has published extensively on human sexuality, interfaith dialogue, and human rights, with a long record of working with HIV/AIDS patients. |

Rev. Susan Russell
Rev. Canon Susan Russell is a life-long Episcopalian and the Senior Associate for Communications, Incorporation & Growth, and Inclusion at All Saints Church in Pasadena, California. She served as the president of Integrity USA, the national advocacy network of LGBT and allied Episcopalians, from 2003-2009 and is currently convener of "Claiming the Blessing," a national collaborative ministry focused on the full inclusion of the LGBT persons baptized into the Episcopal Church. Named one of the 50 most influential voices in the Anglican Communion, she currently chairs a national church task force creating resources for the blessing of same-sex unions. Her family includes her partner Louise, two sons, two dogs and one cat. She is an ENFJ, a second soprano and a second-generation Los Angeles Dodger fan. |
